The science

When the right amount is applied correctly, sunscreens can offer protection against both UVA and UVB rays. They work by reducing the energy of incoming light by altering its wavelength so that it doesn’t cause any damage to the skin. 

Both chemical and physical sunscreens work in this way. Physical sunscreens also, to a small degree, physically reflect some of the UV light. Sunscreens are often a combination of physical and chemical to get the best protective coverage across both UVA and UVB light.

Aqua, Octocrylene, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Glycerin, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid, Inulin, Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Cetearyl Alcohol, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Aminomethyl Propanol, Cellulose, Panthenol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA.

How to use

Apply liberally to your face and neck (including eyelids and lips) 15 minutes before going in the sun. Reapply every 2 hours, or after swimming or sweating.
